ZeniMax Online Studios joins GCX at Universal Orlando Resort bringing developers, legendary voice actor Wes Johnson, ESO community creators, and a fully immersive live-action Elder Scrolls experience to the show floor for the first time.
ORLANDO, FL — June 24th, 2026 — Gaming Community Expo (GCX) today announced that The Elder Scrolls Online, developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, will have an official presence at GCX 2026 at Universal Orlando Resort on July 24-25 including a developer panel hosted by the ZeniMax Online Studios team and a unique fan-built Elder Scrolls experience on the GCX show floor. It joins a host of community-created experiences for year eleven of GCX that range from Destiny, to Fallout, Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.
At the heart of the announcement is The Night Market an immersive, live-action Elder Scrolls universe experience spanning a major section of the GCX show floor, designed and produced by The Adventurers Guild of Giving (AGOG), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to combating social isolation. Inspired by the Night Market of ESO’s Fargrave (an interplanar nexus of shifting factions, rare treasures, and otherworldly intrigue), The Night Market brings Tamriel to life with live-action questing, hands-on activities, faction competition, and community connections.
Attendees who enter The Night Market will:
Representatives from ZeniMax Online Studios will be on the show floor throughout the event, offering attendees direct access to the team behind Tamriel for casual conversations, questions, and community connection. Joining them will be legendary voice actor Wes Johnson – the iconic voice behind Hermaeus Mora, Ard Caddach, the Mad God Sheogorath, Lucien Lachance, and the unforgettable Imperial Guards of Oblivion who will be hosting an exclusive meet-and-greet session in character at The Night Market on Saturday.
Members of the ESO Creator Program will also be present throughout the weekend, including NeliSerendipity, PainInTheAxe, Nine_Tale_Fox, Loreseekers ESO, Yicky, and Reishi_Spores – bringing the ESO content community directly into the shared space of one of gaming’s most community-forward events.
In addition to the show floor experience, GCX will host an official Elder Scrolls Online developer panel featuring members of the ZeniMax Online Studios team, including Associate Design Director Mike Finnigan, Principal Creator Engagement Manager Gina Bruno, and ESO content creators. The panel represents a significant moment for the Elder Scrolls community, taking place during ESO’s landmark 2026 season launch – a year in which ZeniMax has moved the game to a fully seasonal content model, introducing Season One on July 9, 2026, just weeks before GCX. The panel is expected to offer fans a rare opportunity for direct conversation with the developers shaping Tamriel’s future.
The Elder Scrolls Online has been one of the most enduring MMORPGs in gaming since its 2014 launch, welcoming tens of millions of players across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Its 2026 seasonal model marks the game’s biggest structural evolution in years, with Season One introducing a revamped Thieves Guild questline, a six-part Sheogorath storyline, the first new base game trial since 2014, and naval combat to Tamriel – making GCX 2026 one of the first major community events to celebrate the new chapter alongside players.
“After over 12 years of being part of The Elder Scrolls Online community, ESO isn’t just a game to us—it’s home. We initially turned to streaming ESO as a way to find connection during a time when we felt deeply isolated ourselves, hoping our channel could become a beacon for others experiencing that same loneliness. As our platform grew, we saw just how deep those roots of isolation ran across the broader gaming community, and we realized our mission needed to expand beyond just screens and Discord DMs. By physically bringing Tamriel to life at GCX, we are creating a place for real-world healing and connection—a first step in our grander vision to bring even more virtual worlds to life, ensuring no player has to adventure alone.”
— Amanda “MrsNineTales” Catalano, The Adventurers Guild of Giving
The Night Market experience is made possible through the creative and logistical work of The Adventurers Guild of Giving, whose mission is to combat social isolation through immersive convention experiences, community-building, and charitable engagement. In keeping with that mission, all Night Market activities at GCX are designed not just as gaming moments but as genuine connection points – spaces where attendees find their party, as AGOG puts it, and carry those bonds beyond the convention floor.
“The Elder Scrolls universe has one of the most passionate, dedicated communities in all of gaming and GCX is the kind of event that was built specifically to celebrate communities like this one. This is a weekend that ESO players will be talking about for a long time. We look forward to welcoming them.”
— Kevin Murray, Event Director, GCX
